April Climate Circle: California’s Electric Rates Are Too High
Join the Contra Costa Climate Circle April 7 from Noon to 1 pm to discuss California’s high electricity rates and possible solutions. According to the Legislative Analyst’s Office, between 2019 and 2023, residential rates rose by 47 percent. There is general agreement on the causes of the rate increase, but considerable disagreement about solutions. How can we generate more local, affordable electricity?
