We enthusiastically back William Ktsanes for an at-large seat on the El Cerrito City Council. As a graduate finance instructor at the University of San Francisco, William integrates environmental ethics into his financial courses. With Master’s degrees in financial analysis and public administration, he combines strong financial expertise with a commitment to social and environmental protection. William views climate change as our greatest societal threat.

On the El Cerrito Finance Board, he championed the No Fossil Fuel Investment policy, pushing for sustainable financial practices. He actively promotes LEED construction standards and collaborates with the U.S. Green Building Council, where he was part of the inaugural Emerging Professionals program.

A single dad, William regularly travels to Thailand, where he adopted his son. Recently, they participated in a reforestation project in northern Thailand, demonstrating their commitment to the environment.
