We are thrilled to congratulate our winning endorsees in the 2024 general election! We look forward to working with each of you over the next few years to tackle the climate challenges facing Contra Costa County.
We supported fifteen successful local, county, regional, and state candidates whose decisions will affect Contra Costa County for decades. Our endorsements spanned ten cities, with at least one climate champion winning in each municipality. In several cities two or more candidates won. El Cerrito elected all three of our endorsees! This momentum will drive the quest for meaningful action on climate change forward.
Below are the bios of all our 2024 endorsees. Our team of electoral volunteers spent weeks and countless hours researching, vetting, and discussing candidates. Each of these individuals received our endorsement for their commitment to clean energy solutions and environmental justice for all. The winners are marked with a special badge on their photos.
While these candidates span multiple counties, some Contra Costa County voters reside in each of their districts.
A heartfelt thank you to all our candidates, both those who won and those whose vote counts came up short. We recognize the immense effort, time, and resources you dedicated to your campaigns. Your commitment to local governance and community well-being is truly appreciated.
