Richmond native Melvin Willis has seen firsthand the struggles with housing, education, and environmental damage caused by the Chevron refinery. As a committed District 1 City Councilmember since 2016, he’s been a leading voice for housing and environmental justice in Richmond, pushing for real change that benefits the community.
