There has never been an Earth Day like this one. Our environment is under assault by the Trump administration. In just a few devastating months, we have lost years of hard fought environmental progress. We are living with the consequences of global heating that have led to repeated wildfires and natural disasters and skyrocketing insurance and electrical rates. This New York Times article details how Trump is crushing US climate policy and gutting protections for Americans and the agencies designed to deliver them.
Earth Day is a global celebration of stewardship and conservation of natural resources. We must cherish and guard our beautiful world. Let your love of our planet lead you to a celebration, protest, or action to protect our Earth.
On April 5, we're taking to the streets to fight back with a clear message: Hands Off! our Democracy and government institutions. Join the nationwide grassroots protests against the anti-democratic and illegal actions of the Trump administration and its oligarchic allies.
If you care about Environmental Protection, Clean Air and Water, Climate Change, and Clean Energy
If you love our National Parks, Forests, Seashores, and Public Lands
If you care about government institutions like the National Park Service, the EPA, NOAA, FEMA, and so many others-
It’s time to fight back!

This month we will discuss: California's electric rates are too high! According to the Legislative Analyst’s Office, residential rates rose by 47% between 2019 and 2023. There is general agreement on the causes of the rate increase, but considerable disagreement about solutions.
How can we generate more local, affordable electricity? Join the next Climate Circle on Monday, April 7th to discuss issues and possible solutions.
