Why 350CCA?
We’re already on the ground, at the grass-roots level, doing what individuals like you imagine yourselves doing to mitigate the climate crisis.
- Fighting Fossil Fuel Extraction: We’re actively campaigning to keep fossil fuels in the ground.
- Pushing for Climate Action Plans: We’re urging local governments throughout the county to develop and follow state-mandated Climate Action Plans to reduce emissions and our carbon footprint.
- Electing Local Climate Leaders: We’re identifying, researching, and endorsing candidates who take the fossil-free pledge and make climate and equity their key issues.
- Holding Legislators Accountable: We’re tracking state and county-level legislation, making sure lawmakers pass laws that lead to real climate improvements. by both individual citizens and businesses of all sizes
- Getting the word out: We keep our communities informed on how it’s all going through our monthly newsletter and public events that inform, call to action, and highlight our progress.
