Looking for a fun and meaningful way to celebrate Earth Day this year? Here are five Contra Costa Earth Day 2025 events happening right here—perfect for families, eco-enthusiasts, and anyone looking to make a positive impact.
We’ll be at several of these events, so make sure to stop by our booth and say hello! We’ll have games for the kids, sign-up sheets for Earth-healing actions, and plenty of information about how you can make a difference right here in our community.
Plus, if you’re up for a little adventure, we’ve included some Earth Day celebrations in neighboring Alameda and San Francisco. There’s no shortage of opportunities to get involved this Earth Day!

Celebrate, Then Roll Up Your Sleeves and Act!
Earth Day isn’t just about celebrating our beautiful planet—it’s a call to action. This year, it’s more important than ever to raise our voices and demand accountability for the environmental and human rights under threat. This year we’re fighting. Fighting for survival.
We at 350 Contra Costa Action urge you to take advantage of the many Earth Day 2025 climate actions here and around the Bay. Join with thousands of others demanding accountability and restoration of environmental and human rights—won over decades of hard work—now being discarded like dandelion fluff in a matter of months. As the editorial team stated in our April newsletter,
Earth Day is a global celebration of stewardship and conservation of natural resources. We must cherish and guard our beautiful world. Let your love of our planet lead you to a celebration, protest, or action to protect our Earth.
350 CCA Newsletter April 2025
So while you celebrate our still-verdant planet and its life-giving waters, soil and air, take time to notice what we are losing. Make a plan to take action to save the living Earth for your children and generations to come. There is a way you can help, whatever your circumstances. Like drops of water filling a river, every action, no matter how small, makes a difference.
