DESCRIPTION:Each year in April\, the City of El Cerrito celebrates Earth Day with a morning of volunteerism. \nWe invite you to join or organize an Earth Day work party! \nThe City of El Cerrito welcomes volunteers to: \n\nHelp tidy parks & public spaces\nPick up litter to reduce the amount of trash that ends up in our creeks\, waterways and the Bay\nRemove invasive plants and weeds\nParticipate in activities that beautify our community’s natural areas\n\nThe City encourages individuals\, families and groups to register their work parties in advance by completing a Work Party Registration Form or emailing earthday@ci.el-cerrito.ca.us with details on site location\, number of volunteers and type of work that will be performed by April 13\, 2025. \nNot ready to organize your own work party? The City has a list of locations and parties you can join. \nWe’ll be there! Watch for us pitching in\, or find us at some of these other 2025 Earth Month events in Contra Costa County and beyond.
