Join our team as a #ClimateVolunteer Social Media Manager and help raise awareness and inspire action against climate change! We’re looking for a climate savvy volunteer to manage our social media accounts on X (formerly Twitter) and Bluesky.

Your Role as Social Media Manager

As our Social Media Manager, you will:

  • Create and schedule engaging content using blog posts, images, videos, and stories from 350 Contra Costa Action and 350 Bay Area Action.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner to foster community engagement.
  • Track and report on social media metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize impact.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Team to ensure your social media efforts align with our overall campaigns and initiatives.

Estimated Commitment

Dedicate 1–3 hours per week to post 1–2 tweets/posts weekly on Bluesky and X and build our following on those accounts. Your posts will draw from our monthly newsletter, upcoming events, and relevant stories in the press.
