K-12 students can get involved in Walnut Creek’s Sustainability Action Plan by creating a painting, drawing, or other piece of visual artwork that shows what they want to see in the city’s sustainable future. This Plan outlines the actions that the city and community will take to address climate change, enhance climate resiliency, and improve sustainability.
If you would like your artwork to be considered for inclusion in the final Sustainability Action Plan, submit a scan or photo of your art to Kathryn Walsh, Walnut Creek’s Sustainability Action Plan AmeriCorps Fellow, at walsh@walnut-creek.org by May 12.
