DESCRIPTION:The Contra Costa Climate Circle is a Zoom meeting for the climate concerned. Come connect with like minded folks and discuss current events in a safe and friendly space. All are welcome. We look forward to meeting you! \nThis month\, the focus is on wildfire. Wildfires in California in the past 10 years have destroyed thousands of homes and burned millions of acres of forest\, polluting the air we breathe and releasing harmful carbon dioxide into the earth’s atmosphere. \nAs a result of catastrophic wildfires\, homeowners’ fire insurance is becoming prohibitively expensive\, or unavailable. How could future local wildfires impact us and our neighborhoods?
