She is the Founder of Systemic Impact Strategies\, a consultancy and advisory. \nHer life story\, depicted in Patagonia’s film\, The Scale of Hope\, intimately explores her pursuit of climbing steep ice faces in Alaska\, her personal struggle with mental health\, and her work to transform societal narratives by infusing them with hope and empowerment. \nThe film has resonated with audiences worldwide\, amassing over one million views and earning a place in the permanent collection at the New York Museum of Modern Art. It is now streaming on all Delta flights through Delta’s InFlight Entertainment. \nMolly has been asked to speak at institutions such as Google\, Nike\, Harvard\, the U.S. Congress\, global IMAX audiences\, and the Kennedy Center presidential monument. She is an Advisory Board Member to the Environmental Voter Project and an Advisory Council Member to the AAPI Victory Fund. SUMMARY:2023 City of El Cerrito & WorldOne 4th of July Festival
DESCRIPTION:  \n\nThe Recreation Department hosted the first co-sponsored 4th of July Festival with worldOne in 1998. Since then\, the festival has grown into a world-class hometown institution featuring high quality musical performances\, family entertainment such as rides and bounce houses\, non-profits and civic organization booths\, vendors\, and food booths and trucks offering a wide variety of cuisines.  \n\n\n\nAfter a two-year hiatus during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic\, the Festival returned in summer 2022 thanks to the generous support of sponsors and individual donors. The City is committed to annual fundraising efforts to make sure the 4th of July Festival comes back year after year and remains fiscally sustainable and accessible to all.  \n\n\n\nWe are excited to once again celebrate with the El Cerrito community and supporters on Tuesday\, July 4 from 11am-5pm at Cerrito Vista Park.
